Being a therapist is amazing - and tough

We all came to therapy by different paths, and for different reasons. But in general, we all want to leave the world a little better than we found it. I spent a year working toward private pay therapy, and realized the marketing is not where I want to focus time (or energy).

After deciding to return to insurance, I’ve found that (just like anything) there’s pros and cons.

If you’re like me and you’re trying to figure out how to make this career right for you, try to block out the noise on social media (unless your goal is to be a therapy influencer).
